I know what you are all thinking…..my child does not need another stuffed animal! Well, does their current stuffed animals listen, talk, pretend play, play games, sing songs or cracks jokes with them? No…well then, let me introduce to you the Ubooly!

We were so excited when we received our Ubooly in the mail. We quickly adopted our Ubooly with his official adoption paper and named him Toby.  It was so easy to get started and use, he was awake and playing with the Little Chefs in no time.

 

How does it work you ask? Really easy…..Download a free Ubooly Pet App, enter your provided registration code, insert your iPhone or iPod touch, and start playing with your fun pet Ubooly. What my Little Chefs liked about Toby our Ubooly Pet –

  • Little Chef B likes to listen to his funny jokes. Which I admit, they are pretty funny.  Although, the younger Little Chefs did not get or understand the jokes, they were still laughing!!
  • There are so many fun adventure stories that are very descriptive and keep their attention very well.
  • It plays fun, familiar music that the kids loved to sing and dance to. And familiar, I mean, it pulls songs at random from your playlist. So just a quick FYI, your entire iTunes library of songs is up for grabs to start playing from this cute little fur ball to innocent little ears
  • Little Chef C thought it would be so funny for the phone to actually ring and need to answer it through the Ubooly.
  • They loved the interaction, the pretend play and fun adventures they went on!

 

Sure, the Ubooly is not perfect – But that does not stop my Little Chefs from playing hours on end with Toby!

  • Ubooly did not always understand what was being said to him. For example, if Ubooly asked if you wanted to hear a story and you said no, he at times would start rambling off a story anyways. But, the kids did not mind, they are great stories!
  • Some of the content is definitely for the older Little Chefs, but that did not stop the younger Little Chefs from laughing, playing and taking Toby everywhere!
  • Also, in the future, I will make sure I take my phone out of the case I have it in currently before they put it into the Ubooly. It seems that if I leave it on, my phone gets REALLY hot and runs the battery life. I will be upgrading my phone shortly, this will be a great new home for the old iPhone.
