General Conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints occurs the first Sunday in April and October. I have created a general conference packet to get to know the First Presidency and LDS Apostles to keep hands busy but hopefully not mouths as we watch. In this packet you will learn three facts about each person and will have a corresponding activity or food item to reinforce that fact.

In my home we watch conference on our television. I like my kids to listen but it can get long for them. Giving them something to do that connects them to the person they are listening to will help them make a connection to that person. They will want to listen because they will know something fun and interesting about that person. Last year I created journal printables for them to use while they listened. This is good for the older kids. This packet is good especially for the younger kids.

How to assemble your own packet.

NOTE: I do not know who will be speaking. During some talks there will not be a packet. Some packets may be left unused. If history means anything most of the First President and Quarem of the Twelve LDS Apostles usually speak at some point during each conference.

It is your choice if you would like to duplicate these items for each of your children. This is something I will be doing for my kids.

Here is another idea for a more simple General Conference Packet.
